LG Refrigerators
We repair LG French-door, InstaView, door-in-door, side-by-side and bottom-freezer models. Typical jobs include evaporator and condenser fan motors, ice makers and ice fans, defrost heaters and sensors, water valves and main control boards. LG Washers
LG front-loaders and top-loaders use a direct-drive motor, so there’s no belt to replace, but drain pumps, door locks, inlet valves, door boots and rotor position sensors do wear out. LG Dryers
LG electric dryers watch exhaust airflow and show d80, d90 or d95 when the vent is getting restricted. We replace heating elements, thermistors, thermal fuses, belts, rollers and idler pulleys, and clean moisture sensors coated with softener residue. LG suggests a simple reset for many washer and dryer codes: unplug the unit, press and hold Start/Pause for five seconds, then plug it back in. If a code comes back after a reset and the basic checks, the part behind it needs attention.

Finding Your LG Model Number
LG model numbers usually start with LF, LR or LM for fridges, WM or WT for washers, DLE for electric dryers, LDF or LDT for dishwashers and LRE for electric ranges. Washer and dryer labels are usually inside the door frame or on the back panel, fridge labels on an inside side wall, and dishwasher labels on the side of the door. LG often gives longer coverage on parts like direct-drive motors and compressors, so check your warranty before booking any repair on those. LG Repair FAQ
What does OE mean on an LG washer?
OE means the washer can’t drain. Check that the drain hose isn’t kinked or pushed too far into the standpipe, then open the small door at the front bottom and clean the drain pump filter. If the code comes back with a clear filter and hose, the drain pump probably needs replacing.
Why does my LG dryer show d90?
d90 means the dryer detected about 90 per cent blockage in its exhaust airflow. Clean the lint filter, check the hose behind the dryer for crushing, and make sure the outside vent flap opens. Long condo vent runs often need professional cleaning. d80 and d95 mean the same problem at different levels.
Is my Kenmore made by LG?
It is if the model number starts with 796 for a washer or dryer, or 795 for a fridge. Those Kenmore units were built by LG and share many LG parts and codes. Look for the model label inside the door or on a side wall, and read the first three digits.
Can you fix an LG fridge ice maker that stopped working?
Yes. We check the ice maker’s on/off setting, the water filter, the inlet valve, the fill tube and the ice maker fan and module. On some LG models, ice builds up around the ice maker and blocks it. Fixing the root cause, not just thawing it, keeps the problem from returning.
Do you repair LG gas ranges or dryers?
No. We work only on LG electric ranges, wall ovens and electric dryers, and we don’t service any gas appliance. For a gas LG range or dryer, contact a licensed gas technician. If you notice a gas smell, leave right away and call your gas utility from outside.
