Appliances We Repair

Tell us what the appliance is doing when you call. A clear description helps the technician bring the most likely part, so more repairs get finished in one visit.

Refrigerators and Freezers

A fridge that runs but won’t stay cold, a freezer packed with frost, an ice maker that quit, or water pooling under the crisper drawers. These usually trace back to a fan motor, a defrost part, a thermostat or a blocked drain line. See our refrigerator repair in Toronto page for the full list.

Washing Machines

Front-loaders and top-loaders that won’t drain, won’t spin, leak onto the floor or bang hard in the spin cycle. Pumps, door locks, lid switches, belts and suspension parts are the usual suspects. Read more about our washer repair service.

Dryers

Clothes still damp after a full cycle, a drum that won’t turn, squealing, or a dryer that shuts itself off. We check heating parts, belts, rollers, thermal fuses and venting. Learn about dryer repair. We work on electric dryers only.

Dishwashers

Standing water in the tub, dishes that come out gritty, a leak at the door or a unit that never fills. Drain pumps, inlet valves, door gaskets and spray arms account for most visits. Our dishwasher repair page covers each problem.

Ovens, Stoves and Cooktops

An oven that won’t heat or runs hot, an element that stays cold, a control panel showing a fault code, or a self-clean door that stays locked. See oven and stove repair. We work on electric models only; for gas appliances, contact a licensed gas technician.

How a Repair Visit Works

  1. Call or book online. Phone 647-642-1414 or use the book a visit form. Give us the brand, the model number if you have it, and what’s going wrong.
  2. We set a time window. Same-day visits are often possible, especially when you call early. Evening and weekend slots run until 11 PM.
  3. Diagnosis and a clear quote. The technician finds the fault and tells you the price before any repair starts. You decide whether to go ahead.
  4. Repair and testing. We fix the appliance, test it before we leave, and give you a 3 to 6 month warranty depending on the repair.

Pricing, Plainly

A service call costs $70. That covers the trip and the diagnosis. If you go ahead with the repair, the $70 is waived and you only pay for the repair itself. If you decide not to repair, the $70 is all you pay.

There is no extra charge for evenings, weekends or statutory holidays, and no hidden fees. We take cash, credit card, debit and Interac e-Transfer. Common questions about cost and warranty are answered on our appliance repair FAQ page.

Brands We Service

We work on all the brands listed on this site, from everyday builder models to premium kitchens. These twelve have their own pages:

We also service many other brands; see our full brands list.

Areas We Serve

Our office is at 55 University Ave, Unit 628, in downtown Toronto, and our technicians cover four areas: Toronto, North York, Scarborough and Etobicoke. We don’t send technicians outside those areas, which keeps travel times short and same-day visits realistic.

A lot of our work is in condos. If your building needs an elevator booking, a parking pass or a work notice for the concierge, let us know when you book so the technician can arrive ready. For houses, tell us where the appliance is (basement laundry, main-floor kitchen) and whether there’s anything to move. More about coverage is on our Toronto service area page.

What Our Customers Say

A few words from customers, quoted from their Google reviews.

“Fantastic service. Called the day before to get an appointment, they showed up and fixed my dryer very quickly. Even cleaned the inside of the dryer. I will definitely use this service again.”
— J. S., Google review

“Amazing service and very friendly! Thanks for answering some questions and helping my family figure out the issue with our washer. He was very experienced and could tell what the issue was just from a picture of our washer and a part that was removed by another company.”
— Nicole Z., Google review

“I recently had my refrigerator break down due to a brown out which damaged the start capacitor relay. It’s a twenty two year old Frigidaire and I thought that I was going to have to replace it. But thanks to [our technician] my fridge is back up and running. He managed to find the part and had it repaired the next day. I am extremely happy with the service that I received and will recommend [them] to everyone I know that needs appliance repairs done. It’s nice to know that there is someone out there still doing quality work at a reasonable price.”

Appliance Repair FAQ

How much does a service call cost?

A service call is $70. It covers the visit and the diagnosis. If you approve the repair, we waive the $70, so you pay only for the repair. If you decide not to go ahead, the $70 is the only charge.

Can you come the same day?

Often, yes. We aim to send a technician the same day you call, but it depends on how full the schedule is. Calling earlier in the day gives you the best chance of a same-day visit. Mention your appliance and brand when you call.

What are your hours?

We’re open from 7 AM to 11 PM every day of the week, including statutory holidays. Evening, weekend and holiday visits cost the same as weekday visits. Evening slots are popular with people who work during the day, so book early if you need one.

Which areas do you cover?

We serve Toronto, North York, Scarborough and Etobicoke. We don’t take jobs outside those four areas. Our office is downtown at 55 University Ave, and technicians travel to homes, condos and rentals across all four areas. Staying within these areas lets us reach you quickly.

Is the repair guaranteed?

Yes. Repairs come with a 3 to 6 month warranty, depending on the type of repair. Your technician tells you the warranty period before the work starts. If the same problem comes back within that period, call us and we’ll make it right.

How can I pay?

We accept cash, credit card, debit and Interac e-Transfer. For a repair, you pay once the work is finished and tested. Your technician confirms the total before any work begins, so there are no surprises on the final bill.
